Michelle is a litigator with a passion for tackling complex disputes and advocating for clients in high-stakes matters. She brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach to every case, with experience managing litigation from early investigation through discovery, motion practice, and resolution. With meticulous preparation and persuasive advocacy, Michelle is committed to achieving effective outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining Heise Suarez Melville, Michelle practiced at a respected Florida defense firm, where she handled a wide range of high-exposure personal injury and general liability matters across South Florida. She also clerked at an international law firm, supporting attorneys in white-collar defense and commercial litigation, and interned in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Criminal Division with the Honorable Betsy Alvarez-Zane.

Michelle earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, where she was consistently named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the Negotiation and Mediation Team. She received six CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Civil Procedure, Property, Sales, Legal Writing, Advanced Legal Writing, and Legal Skills and Values III. Notably, she earned the highest grade in every legal writing course she took. Michelle also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Florida International University.

Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, which enhances her ability to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
