Nick is an experienced litigator based in New York City.

After graduating from Stanford Law School, he worked at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP and WilmerHale LLP, where he represented a wide variety of clients, including a company navigating federal criminal investigations into allegations of bribery, a multinational bank facing global lawsuits alleging interest rate benchmark manipulation, a real estate development firm countersuing a supplier for fraud and civil RICO, individuals seeking redress from perpetrators of sexual assault, and tribal plaintiffs suing wholesalers and retailers of prescription opioids. He has been a crucial member of multiple trial teams, argued before the First Department appellate division, second-chaired oral arguments on dispositive motions, and taken and defended dozens of depositions.

Nick has experience litigating employment, antitrust, bankruptcy, tort, and intellectual property cases in both state and federal court, including class actions, multi-district litigation, arbitrations, and matters necessitating coordination among joint defense and large plaintiff groups.

He maintains a robust pro bono practice, assisting clients with asylum applications, record expungements, benefits appeals, and name change applications.

Nick started his legal career as a paralegal at a boutique litigation firm during summers in college. After graduating from Columbia University, he spent two years as a paralegal at Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP. As a paralegal, he oversaw trial logistics on multiple weekslong trials.

Nick has twice been seconded to work in-house with firm clients. In 2018, he spent six months at Barclays, assisting with the company’s commercial litigation matters and with compliance. In 2024–2025, he spent ten months at The New York Times, where he worked on the company’s landmark copyright infringement litigation against OpenAI and Microsoft. Through these experiences, Nick obtained a better understanding of the operations of in-house legal departments and how, as outside counsel, to most effectively communicate with and manage the firm’s relationship with its clients.
